National Pizza Month
I don’t know many people who don’t like pizza. While I’m not a huge fan, I do still enjoy it once in awhile! My only issue with pizza is second day pizza. I think leftover, cold pizza is the grossest thing ever. I know, I’m a weirdo.
Anyways, a little history on national pizza month. It didn’t start until 1984, by Gerry Durnell of Pizza Today magazine. Yes, a magazine all about pizza! Durnell owned a pizza shop in Santa Claus, Indiana and created his magazine because at the time, there were no trade publications out for pizza.
Pizza fun facts:

The top pizza ordering days are: Super Bowl Sunday, New Year’s Eve, Halloween, The night before Thanksgiving, & New Year’s Day
Most of my holiday posts are a collection of awesome links to food or such. This time, I’m making a list of ways to get coupons to save money on pizza! Coupons make me happy, just as they should you.
Retail Me Not has a pretty good selection of codes. They are the best place to go if you don’t really care where you want pizza, you just want a good deal. You just put in your zip code and it gives you the coupons for your area.
Pizza codes is an OK site. Like with retail me not, you put in your zip code. When I did mine though, it only showed me two different types of pizza places. Still, it is good for knowing what is around (kind of). When you click on the pizza place, it leads you to a page with coupon codes on it.
Everywhere has a Pizza Hut. I even had pizza hut before seeing Thor 2 while in England! Check out their website before you order. They have a tab full of deals and specials. If you eat there a lot, sign up for their email club. They send out email exclusive promotions and inform their subscribers of new foods coming out.
Dominos doesn’t have a ton of coupons, at least not at the time of writing. But, they do have an email club to sign up for!
Little Caesars! Home of the $5 pizza. You may or may not know that they do sell other things! 🙂 You can check out their website to see if your local store has any current coupons out.
I enjoy me some Hungry Howies every once in awhile. To check out the current coupons, you have to input your zip code. They usually have a pretty good selection to chose from.
Do you use coupons when you buy pizza? Where do you get your favorite pizza? Let me know in the comments!
