Enough Alien Movies, Books, Ect to Last You Till Next World UFO Day
Happy World UFO Day! According go the holiday’s website, World UFO Day is “dedicated to the existence of unidentified flying objects.”
I’ll be completely honest, I do believe in aliens. Do I believe in little green men? Not so much. But there is no way, in this gigantic universe we live in, that we could be all alone. For all I know, they could be human’s with two hearts, cat-like humans who work as nurses, or even blobs with no feelings other than hate. Who knows?
World UFO Day was created by UFO researcher Haktan Akdogan in 2001. There used to be two days: today, July 2nd, and June 24th. June 24th is known to be the day the first UFO was seen in the US. July 2nd is the day of the supposed UFO accident, Roswell. Apparently, in order to end the confusion, the World UFO Day Organization declared July 2nd the official day.
How to Celebrate
The official website lists a ton of ways you can celebrate: go sky watching for UFOs, make your own UFO, host a party.
My idea? Eat some food, watch a movie or tv show, or read a book. I’ve compiled a couple of lists for the best Alien Food, Alien Movies, Alien Documentaries, Alien TV Shows, and Alien Books. Whether you believe or not, it is always fun to have something to celebrate.
