Worth It Wednesday: Traveling Chameleon Toiletry Bag

When I went to Vegas, I took WAY too much. I couldn’t help myself. What if I NEEDED 12 scrunchies? I couldn’t just bring a brush, I needed a comb too. And this beach spray I never use? Had to bring that.

That is where the Traveling Chameleon toiletry bag comes in. When I first got it I was pissed. It came all flat and I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to make it work. It wasn’t until I started filling it with stuff that made sense. Sometimes I’m not very smart.

My favorite part of the bag is how it folds up into a perfect rectangle. It makes it PERFECT for when you are packing a suitcase. Now if you were packing a duffel bag, it probably wouldn’t work so well. I know a lot of people will put their shampoo and such in Ziploc baggies just in case they get smashed and destroy everything. You don’t have to do that with this bag because the outside is hard, and until you open it, it isn’t going to lose its shape.

In Vegas, I stayed at the Travelodge. No where near the nicest place on the strip, but it worked for me. I was able to hang the Chameleon up and get all my stuff out that way. Way more convenient than having to open it, lay it out, pull my stuff out, etc. I will never go back to a non hanging toiletry bag. EVER.

I was able to fit a boat load of stuff in this bag. Because I was in Vegas for my big brothers wedding, I wanted to make sure I looked good. So of course, that meant I needed to bring WAY MORE than a normal person would bring. And it all fit. I could have actually shoved it even fuller.

It does come in two colors: pink and blue. I wish it came in purple, but, oh well. It does cost $25 which seems a bit high until you price the adorable toiletry bags at Target that hold much less and don’t protect at all.

What do you use when you travel?
