The Scorch Trials Movie

The scorch trials comes out tomorrow! I’m a pretty big fan of this series. It’s been awhile since I read the books, but I remember liking them.

A ton of great movies and tv shows come out between now and the end of the year, so I figured I should start helping ya’ll get ready for them! I’ll be posting different ways to “celebrate” a new movie or show coming out.

There aren’t a ton of different ways to celebrate the the Maze Runner/Scorch Trials. While it has taken off enough to become a movie series, it hasn’t taken off like say, the Hunger Games, has.

If you are going to the midnight premier tonight, you have to dress up. Luckily, it is pretty easy to dress up since there really wasn’t much to their outfits. I found some good outfit ideas on polyvore. Use the inspirations to pull together an outfit from your own closet.

Next, you need to eat. Eating food from my favorite book or movie series is my favorite way to celebrate. For the second hunger games, catching fire, I made a crap ton of food before the movie. Too much actually. But it was hard not to want to make everything and anything mentioned in the books.

Luckily, food from the maze runner world is a lot simpler than hunger game food. I couldn’t find an exact list for the scorch trials, so the list from the maze runner is going to have to do.

Main courses:

burger

ham, cheese and mayonnaise sandwiches

casserole

eggs and bacon

beef and noodles

cheese sandwiches

roast beef

steak

pizza

Sides

Fruits/Veggies

carrots

tomatoes

lettuce

Let me know how you decided to celebrate the release! Did you go see the movie? Let me know what you think!

I actually just fiienhsd reading this a couple weeks ago, and I thought it was very good. I’d almost say better than the first one. It kept me turning the pages like crazy. I definitely recommend it to fans of the Hunger Games (but read The Maze Runner first!)
