Cow Appreciation Day!
IT’S COW APPRECIATION DAY. Yes, it really is a thing. I have a deep and unbinding love for cows. I have loved them since, well, forever. Ok, maybe like early high school. Maybe even middle school. Basically, it’s been a long time.
I used to really obsess over them. I don’t so much any more because of silly things like “being an adult” and “acting like one.” But back in the day, I had a bazillion cow things in my room. Every cow stuffed animal I found? Mine. Cow figurine that wasn’t stupid looking? Mine. I had it all and some.
Now, not so much. I paired back my stuffed animal collection to just my favorites, just the cutest. It hurt, but it was needed. Refer to the “being an adult” above. I still have all my cool cow figurines though. Plus a mug. And a bowl set. And keychains on my backpack. ANYWAYS.
Back to Cow Appreciation Day. It was created by Chick-fil-a. Unfortunately, where I live in Michigan does not have a Chick-fil-a. The closest is in Ohio, somewhere in Toledo I think. Not really close enough for me.
But to celebrate, they are giving away free meals! Not so fast though. You have to dress up, head to toe, like a cow. If you only partially dress up, you get a free entree. Free food for dressing like a cow! I could totally do that.
But since I’m not going to celebrate by driving down to Ohio, I figured I would celebrate by looking back at all my awesome cow moments. And yes, there are a few of them.
