13 Nifty Things to do With Dandelions
Apparently, this weekend’s holiday is Dandelion Days. I personally love dandelions. I like seeing fields of just complete yellow. I know they are a weed, but they are still pretty to me. Plus, it’s fun for my niece and I to pick them all from the yard.
I really wanted to try to make dandelion syrup for this post. My parents think it sounds gross, but hey, I’ve never tried it so it was worth a shot. Except, there are very little dandelions in my yard. Usually, our yard is just covered in them. The only good hunting ground is in front of a Mexican restaurant on a busy corner. I don’t particularly feel like letting everyone watch me pick flowers.
So instead, you get a round up post. I actually like round up posts: both reading and writing them. When I write them, I get to google the crap out of a topic (or pinterest the crap out of it.) When I read them, I get to open all the interesting looking articles, instead of searching, opening one, searching, opening one, etc.
There is a crazy amount of items that you can make with dandelions. So instead of putting them under your nose to see if you like butter, make something instead.
